October 15 & 16, 2021
Adoptive mamas - come join us! We will have our veteran speaker and adoptive mom, Sarah How, guiding us through a new workbook she's written about how to "Thrive in Life." Come embrace a Christian perspective of how to Thrive in Life by spending time reflecting, dreaming and creating a fresh purpose and vision for your life by first connecting with God,
then with who He made you to be, and finally, connecting with others around you. We will spend an evening and a day getting to know other adoptive moms while deepening your relationship with Christ. Instead of focusing on your kiddos, this retreat will focus on YOU - to help you be a better mom, Christian, wife, friend!
Sarah How is first a wife and mom, and now she bears the title of Grandma! She is an adoptive mom, and a nationally certified school psychologist working both in telepractice and in person. Her experiences have led her to train educators and families nationally and internationally in disability awareness, parenting and relationships.
Sarah is married to her best friend, Mark. They have 4 children and one grandchild and make their home in rural northern Minnesota.
