If you've been at our past retreats, each year has been a little different. This year our format will focus on more sharing of ideas, and giving time to  hear each others stories.

In the morning, Travis and Sarah, veteran adoptive and foster parents, share how to keep your marriage strong. There will also be Q&A with them afterwards!

​

The second half of the day we will break out into different discussion groups and learn from our fellow adoptive moms about different topics. 

 

Many of us feel mentally, physically, emotionally and relationally exhausted in our adoption journey. We get it. We've been there.

 

Lori & Jeff Kenney, who run Lakes Area Adoption Support are veteran adoptive parents, adopting their first child 30 years ago, and 3 more after that. Our story is almost always messy, sometimes overwhelming, and we've walked the road ahead of you and experienced some of the challenging feelings that can come from raising kids from hard places.
