Featuring Keynote speaker
Sarah and Wendy Pidkaminy have written a new interactive workbook, "STIL Thrive in Life," which is designed to transform lives through 7 core truths - all based on God's word. STIL stands for Speak Truth in Love. Sarah has been the keynote speaker for 2 past Lakes Area Adoption Support events, and we look forward to her sharing her wisdom and expertise with us. www.speaktil.com
WHAT IS THE FALL RETREAT?
Mamas,
If you've been at our past retreats, we focused heavily on becoming trauma informed regarding our adopted kiddos. This one will be a bit different! We are going to help you focus on your own spiritual and emotional growth.
Sarah How, one of our past keynotes, has written a brand new curriculum and you will be her very first live audience to walk through her new workbook.
Many of us feel mentally, physically, emotionally and relationally exhausted in our adoption journey. Sarah is going to be walking us through 7 core truths, all based on the Word of God, and teach you skills for everyday life that you can apply in the varied seasons of your adoption journey.
Sarah, along with myself, Lori, are veteran adoptive moms whose children are now grown and we are both grandmothers. Our stories are almost always messy, sometimes overwhelming, and we've walked the road ahead of you and experienced some of the challenging feelings that can come from raising kids from hard places.
Come to be refreshed, renewed and revived, connect with other adoptive moms and to learn how to Thrive in any season of your adoption parenting journey.
